Andy Feld presented a session on his book, Simple Happy, to our group of "lifelong learning" students (55 + yrs) through the University of Denver. Two hours flew by quickly as Andy shared, with ease and humor, his own life's struggles and the lessons learned. It was surprising to see how positively this more mature group responded to his message - they were responsive, inquisitive and appreciative of his presentation. The best part? Everyone came away with some affirming idea or thought they could immediately begin applying to their own lives. It's not often that people of this age group learn anything new in two short hours. |
